Which languages does Sprachbau support?
German is available first. The engine is language-agnostic — adding a language is a data change, not new code — so more languages follow the same path.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The mobile app reviews entirely on-device against local data, with the same FSRS scheduler the server uses. Syncing is an enhancement, never a requirement for reviewing.
What spaced-repetition algorithm do you use?
FSRS-6, targeting 90% retention — not SM-2. Cards are sentences with cloze deletions, never isolated word pairs.
Is there gamification, streaks, or ads?
No. Sprachbau optimizes for quality of practice, not engagement metrics. There are no streaks, no badges, and no advertising.
How does writing feedback work?
You write freely; feedback separates structure errors (grammar worth drilling) from surface errors (typos). Structure errors spawn targeted practice cards.
